DeAndre Esteen, Employee Communications and Programs Manager
Barclays
DeAndre Esteen is the Employee Communications & Programs Manager of Barclays, a worldwide financial services organization with offices in Henderson, NV. He oversees the site's Citizenship and Community agenda, working with nearly 1,000 colleagues on volunteer and investment initiatives and internal communications.
He was previously the Director of Development at The Shade Tree, a shelter for homeless and abused women, children, and their pets; a position he held until July 2014 for over 3 years.
DeAndre was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and is a proud graduate of Vo-Tech High School in 2001. He later received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2005. He has interned with L’Oréal in New York City and KLAS 8 News Now, where he was a Scripps Howard Award Winner. After graduation, he returned to Las Vegas and began his professional career at KTNV Channel 13 in July 2005, producing various news shows. DeAndre was nominated for his first news Emmy in 2009.
He is a member of Leadership Advance (formerly North Las Vegas Leadership) class of 2013, and is the 2015-2016 Council Chair. DeAndre also volunteers his time at the Boys & Girls Club (Reynolds & Kish Clubhouses), Big Brothers Big Sisters and Silvestri Junior High School.
In his spare time, DeAndre enjoys sports, music, running, playing flag football and spending time with his wife and dog.
