James Stein, Supervisor Service Planning
Southwest Gas
James Stein joined Southwest Gas in 2003 as an industrial gas engineer, primarily handling sales, marketing and regulatory activities for Southwest Gas’ largest commercial and industrial customers. In his current role as a Supervisor Service Planning, James is responsible for a team of service planners who build and maintain relationships with developers, builders and trade allies as well as initiate and coordinate the new business processes and contractual requirements in southern Nevada and Bullhead City, Ariz.
Prior to working for Southwest Gas, James was a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) sales engineer with the Trane Company. He was also a plumbing and HVAC design engineer with a consulting firm specializing in commercial design.
James earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and received a certified energy manager designation from the Association of Energy Engineers.
