Gardening Angels Garden Club
Community Beautification Matching Grant
The Gardening Angels Garden Club of Shelby County believes that beautification builds
community pride; and that partnerships and grassroots volunteerism build beautiful,
active communities. Through a competitive grant process, our Community Beautification
MATCHING GRANT, the Gardening Angels offer this matching grant of up to $600 to help
community and civic groups within Shelby County with their beautification projects.
The Community Beautification Matching Grant project offers community grants based on
project scope and funding availability. Funding may be used for enhancement of community
projects, streetscapes, or to begin a new downtown project. Our matching grant of up to $600 may be divided among more than one applicant. Your project may be completed in phases, but
you will have to re-apply each year for each phase.
Community, civic, and private groups within Shelby County are eligible to apply. Projects must
have a beautification component, be visible to the public and result in aesthetic improvement. Projects must also have a final report and documentation upon completion.
